9/16/19 Announcements

Any Junior or Sophomore interested in taking the PSAT/NMSQT on October 16th to qualify for Michigan Merit scholarships See Ms. Cannon to sign up. Cost is $17.00

Any Junior or Senior interested in the Building Trades Industry, we have a free Career Expo field trip on October 22nd. Space is limited. See Ms. Cannon for permission slip ASAP.

Big Sisters applicants: the application and recommendation forms have been sent to your school email accounts. Please submit those no later than September 20th. Please also bring your signed forms to Mrs. McKenna as part of the application process. If you did not receive the links, please see Mrs. McKenna in room 44.

NHS Members: There will be a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, Sept 17 in the library. We will be nominating and voting on officers. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Cieslak or Mrs. Tilson.  

Attention students interested in joining Black American Culture Club: We will have our first meeting after school in Mrs. Cieslak's room on Friday, Sept 20th. All are welcome!!!

MLA is available daily in the library during both lunches!! If you get a pass, you must check in with us. We are here to support you! We have school supplies too! 

Any girl interested in playing basketball this upcoming year there will be an informational meeting on Tuesday Sept. 17 right after school in room 2. This is for all levels if you are interested in trying out this winter. The meeting will be about 10-15 minutes. Please make the necessary arrangements to attend. 

Juniors and Seniors interested in playing Powder Puff must sign up with Mrs. Doyle in Room 29 on Monday, September 16th. The cost to play or coach is $25 and this includes your t-shirt. The game is October 9th.   This is for players and coaches.

Auditions for the SAHS Drama Club's production of Romeo and Juliet will be Wednesday, Sept 18 at 2:45 in the Auditorium. You MUST have an audition packet signed by your parent or guardian in order to try out; see Ms. Hanna in the counseling office to pick one up today! 

The Hideaway school store is now open!!! Come in to see all of the great snacks, beverages, STA apparel, spirit gear, and school supplies. We will be open 8:50 am to 1:00 pm, closed on Wednesdays.

Link Crew Titan Tailgate this Friday at 5:30. All freshmen and Link Crew Leaders are invited!! Free food & Games! Let's cheer on our Titans! 

FCA Christian Fellowship will begin this Thursday morning before school in room 41, 7 am - 7:25 am. Late arrivals are welcome.

The spirit totals from Monday and Tuesday are in. In the lead, we have the ... Seniors with 206, followed closely by the Freshmen with 194. The Sophomores and Juniors are neck in neck with 150 and 145 respectively. Help your class win the spirit drum by dressing up the rest of the week.

All Classes - Don’t forget to vote for your Homecoming King and Queen TODAY. You will get an email to your student account with the link. (closing at midnight).

 

Trenton High School is hosting a College Fair tonight from 6-7:30 PM. This is a great way to speak directly to admission reps from over 60 colleges and apprenticeship programs regarding financial aid, tuition, programs, and much more! Military representatives will also be available.

 

It's baaaaaaaack! All students are welcome to attend the Haunted Auditorium planning meeting after school at TODAY at 3pm in the auditorium; the meeting will be brief and will include room planning and assignments.  See you there!

 

Show your school spirit and participate in Penny Wars during lunch this week. Put pennies in your class’ container to add to your total. Put silver coins in the containers of the other classes to take away from their total. At the end of the week, the class with the most pennies wins!

 

Attention Titans: if you are going to the Homecoming dance, the entrance will be at the doors by the media center. All students and guests MUST show picture ID at the door. No exceptions.

 

Attention Titans - It is Spirit Week! Show your Titan Pride and dress up each day to earn spirit points. The winner of spirit week will win the spirit drum! Dress up days are:
